don’t eat boring chocolate

Melt started as a passion project, experimenting with techniques and ingredients we wouldn't come across in a usual chocolate kitchen. When working in a high production kitchen there are techniques you just can not apply because of time restraints or logistical limitations.

The beauty of such a small beginning is creating these tricky things that may not be offered in a usual chocolate shop, due to these restraints. At this stage of melt it’s quite a bit of playful experimentation.

Creating something out of chocolate its fulfilling in a sense that, although it can be beautiful, it is, like most things in life, fleeting. you need to take that beauty. break it up enjoy. so the process is forever moving forward. if you are continuously inspired by what surrounds you. there is no stagnancy.

which also includes responsibility in Environmental and social impact. by collaborating with other Vancouver based makers, growers, roasters and brewers. We are supporting the community in which we are growing, one that has given us the ability to build MELT from a concept to its current form.
the success and development of what Melt is, will be shaped by the ones that support it.
